Harlan Hudson brings his personality and love of the land to the Colorado real estate market! As a fifth generation Texan and native of Dallas, his family roots are based in oil & gas, land acquisitions and development, ranching with an emphasis on raising cattle & quarter horses. He has built a reputation of being direct and honest, with a wealth of knowledge in the land investment arena.
Harlan is an experienced veteran in sales, marketing, appraisal and contracts. His professional experience began as a stockbroker and financial advisor, but he promptly transitioned to real estate, specializing in luxury resort properties and later, farms and ranches. While associated with Hortenstine Ranch Company in Dallas, he gained valuable experience in wildlife management, livestock management, surveying, wetland development, land management, ranch fund management, timber, lake analysis, photography, and land reclamation. He has an understanding of the complexities of Colorado's natural resources including water rights, mineral rights, and the various types of easements.
His love of sports & the outdoors motivated him to move to Colorado. With a passion for winter sports, hiking, hunting, fishing & golf, he immediately fell in love with Crested Butte. He is committed to his role on the Board of Directors for the Gunnison Sportsmen's Association and actively advocates for the enhancement of numerous youth programs.
